Eighteen motorcycles were removed using a tow truck, five vehicles were ticketed, eight vehicles had their tire valves removed, and four vehicles were towed and issued with a written statement.
The locations targeted for the activities include Jalan HR Rasuna Said, Jalan Prof Dr Satrio, Jalan Casablanca, and Jalan KH Abdullah Syafei.
In addition to cracking down on illegally parked vehicles, officers also recorded two illegal parking attendants operating in the Plaza Festival area. Both were given stern warnings and asked to provide written statements.
"We urge vehicle owners to always comply with applicable regulations. Do not let your actions harm others, especially pedestrians," he appealed.
Meanwhile, one of the residents, Rachmat Hidayat appreciated the enforcement conducted by the joint personnel. The existence of illegal parking has often disrupted community activities and caused traffic jams.
"We hope this enforcement will be carried out routinely and firmly to create a deterrent effect, not only for violating drivers but also for illegal parking attendants," he hoped.
